FAQs
The Vest
What's included in the pack?
The vest comes with a 2L hydration bladder, two 500ml soft flasks, and an accessories bag. Inside the accessories bag you'll find a spare magnetic clip, four extra pole toggles, and two race bib holders. The whole kit comes in a carry bag to store it all together.
How big are the front pockets?
Big enough for a large phone with a case. There are two pockets for hydration flasks, and two pockets under these for accessories. The front also has 2 pockets with zippers. All chest pockets on the front are easy to access while running.
What's on the inside right pocket?
In the front right pocket is a dedicated rubbish bag. Waterproof, elastic, and closed with velcro. It's designed for gel wrappers and the other stuff that ends up in your hand mid-run with nowhere to go, and helps avoid sticky gel residue inside your pockets.
Is there a pocket for my race bib?
Yes. There's a hidden invisible-zip pocket inside the back of the vest at the top. It doesn't rub, and it's a good spot for keeping your bib flat and protected pre race. You can use it during your run to store things like your credit card or license.
Does it have a whistle?
Yes, there's a whistle in the top right chest pocket. It's there when you need it and out of the way when you don't.
How do the front straps adjust?
Pull the strap to tighten, pull the buckle to loosen. The clips can be repositioned up or down to sit where they're most comfortable, and the strap length is adjustable. If you want a closer fit, you can cross the straps over for a criss-cross configuration. There's also an elastic fold-back on the straps to hold any excess strap so it doesn't flap around.
What's the magnetic clip for?
It's a clip for your hydration tube. The vest pack comes with two magnetic clips and you can attach the spare to the front webbing. There are also reflective strips to help thread the tube and flask mouthpieces where you want them.
Is the back waterproof?
The back section has two waterproof panels. One sits against your back, the other protects whatever you've got in the outside back pocket. Your bladder sits between the two panels, which keeps it and your back both protected.
Do I need safety pins?
No. The vest has a race bib system built in. Two bib holders are included in the accessories bag and clip onto the front loops. There are two attachment toggles. Your bib stays in place and can be removed mid-race without fuss. You can remove the race bib attachment altogether when you don't need it.
How much can the vest carry?
The vest has a total storage capacity of 8L. That gives you enough room for a full day out, with hydration, nutrition, layers, and whatever else you need on your run.
Sizing and Fit
What size should I get?
Sizing is based on chest measurement. Grab a tape measure and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest:
- S: 70 to 90 cm
- M: 90 to 105 cm
- L: 105 to 125 cm
How does the vest fit?
The front straps are fully adjustable in length and position. The back also has two adjustable straps using the same mechanism. Between the front and back adjustments there's a fair amount of sizing adjustment to get the perfect fit.
What if the size I order doesn't fit?
We offer free size exchanges on vests. No drama. Get in touch and we'll sort it out.
Hydration
What size is the bladder?
The included bladder is 2L. It has a wide-opening easy-fill lid, a lockable mouthpiece, and a removable tube so you can pre-fill it and stick it in the fridge overnight without the tube getting in the way.
What size are the soft flasks?
The flasks are 500ml, with two included in the vest pack.
The straw is adjustable in length and can be removed entirely if you prefer to drink straight from the flask. The mouthpiece attaches directly to the flask without it.
Can I buy a replacement bladder or extra flasks?
Yes to both. The Everpace 2L Hydration Bladder is sold separately, and the soft flasks are sold as a pack of two. Both are the same as what come in the kit.
Does the bladder come with spare o-rings?
Yes, replacement o-rings are included with the bladder so you're covered if one needs replacing down the track.
Running Poles
Does the vest work with running poles?
Yes. There's a back tunnel that runs straight through the vest for carrying poles on your back. For carrying on your front, toggles hold the poles across the front of the vest so they're easy to grab mid-run.
How do the toggles work?
The toggles attach onto the vest to hold your poles in place. The vest comes with two already attached and four more in the accessories bag. They're removable, so you can take them off when you're not using poles and store them in the accessories bag.

About Everpace
Who are you?
We're Liz and Chris, a sister and brother team from NSW. We're trail runners who got frustrated with vests that were almost right but never quite there. So we spent 18 months building our own. This is our first product. We're not a big brand with a warehouse full of stock and a marketing team. We're just two people who love to run, want good equipment and who cared enough to do it properly.
Why should I trust a brand I've never heard of?
Honestly, you probably shouldn't just take our word for it. What we can tell you is that we tested this vest across months of real running in real conditions, and we didn't release it until we'd actually want to wear it ourselves on a long day out. We've also had a crew of trail runners putting it through its paces before launch and they love it too.
Where are you based?
Young NSW, Australia. We ship from here too.
Is this your only product?
For now, yes. The Trail Running Vest is our debut. We also sell the bladder and soft flasks separately, and gift cards. More to come, but we're not going to pretend we have a full product range when we don't.
Still have questions?
We're a small team, so there's a real person on the other end. Get in touch and we'll get back to you.
